The commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad\u2019s Birthday (Maulid Nabi)\nbecame an emotional moment for Gojek driver partners. During this\nobservance, a joint prayer session was held to send off 70 Gojek driver\npartners who are departing for the Umrah pilgrimage to the Holy\nLand.<\/p>\n
As a form of appreciation for driver partners who have been part of\nthe platform since Gojek was established in 2010, Gojek is sponsoring\nthe trip to the Holy Land free of charge. These \u2018Legend Driver\u2019 partners\nare those who helped pave the way for Gojek\u2019s growth, from its early\ndays operating as a call centre to its current status as Indonesia\u2019s\nlargest digital ecosystem.<\/p>\n
The preparations for the Legend Drivers\u2019 departure received a\nsurprise visit from the Minister of Transportation, Dudy Purwagandhi.\nAttending the send-off, Dudy offered prayers for the smooth execution of\nthe pilgrimage and for Indonesia amidst various natural disasters.<\/p>\n
\u201cI hope initiatives like this can inspire more parties to introduce\nsimilar programmes that provide real benefits for the welfare of Driver\nPartners,\u201d said Dudy on Friday (28\/8\/2028) in Kemang Timur, Jakarta.<\/p>\n
In addition to Dudy, religious leader Habib Ja\u2019far Al Hadar was\npresent to lead the joint prayer. While praying for the 70 Legend\nDrivers, Habib Ja\u2019far also encouraged the hundreds of Gojek driver\npartners in attendance to emulate the character of the Prophet Muhammad\nthrough honest, trustworthy, and beneficial work. He reminded them that\nevery effort made with good intentions brings blessings.<\/p>\n

Maryono, one of the Legend Drivers departing for Umrah, expressed\npride in the dedication he has provided over the years. Maryono could\nnot contain his emotion when Gojek recognised his long-term commitment\nby sponsoring his trip to the Holy Land.<\/p>\n
\u201cEven tonight, I can already imagine it. I am already imagining being\nthere, wondering what I will do and what I will pray for. I am 50 years\nold, and it is hard for me to even dream of such a thing. But\nAlhamdulillah, thanks to Gojek, I can go there,\u201d said Maryono.<\/p>\n
The departure of the Legend Drivers is part of Gojek\u2019s Partner\nAppreciation Programme (PAM). This programme offers various benefits,\nranging from BPJS Healthcare and BPJS Employment insurance, Eid bonuses,\nand educational scholarships for children to school supplies, Swadaya\npoints, internet data, and various forms of recognition based on the\ndrivers\u2019 journeys and contributions.<\/p>\n
Head of Driver Operations at Gojek, Bambang AW, revealed that every\npartner has an equal opportunity to receive benefits from the PAM\nprogramme. Benefits are distributed based on partner categories\ndetermined by performance and dedication.<\/p>\n
