        "content": "<p>The new face of the Lovina Beach tourist area is beginning to emerge.\nThe icon of North Bali tourism is undergoing a makeover to appear more\norderly, brighter, and more comfortable.<\/p>\n<p>The redevelopment project at Lovina Beach has reached 92%. The nearly\ncompleted construction includes a 651-metre pedestrian walkway and the\ninstallation of 34 lighting points. These facilities make Lovina Beach\nsafer and more comfortable, especially at night.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are carrying out this redevelopment so that the community and\ntourists have a proper and comfortable recreational space for\nactivities,\u201d said Buleleng Regent I Nyoman Sutjidra during an inspection\nof the Lovina Beach redevelopment project with his deputy, Gede\nSupriatna, and members of the Buleleng Regional Leadership Coordination\nForum (Forkopimda) on Wednesday (24\/6\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>The pedestrian path or jogging track being built, Sutjidra explained,\nis specifically intended for pedestrians, runners, and cyclists.\nMotorised vehicles are not permitted to pass through the area.<\/p>\n<p>Sutjidra emphasised that the redevelopment of Lovina Beach is not\nmerely about beautifying the tourist area, but is part of the local\ngovernment\u2019s strategy to develop a sustainable tourism destination based\non local potential.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hope that with this new look, Lovina\u2019s tourist appeal will\nincrease so that visitor numbers to Buleleng continue to grow,\u201d Sutjidra\nhoped.<\/p>\n<p>The Buleleng Regency Government is optimistic that Lovina Beach will\nbecome more competitive as a premier destination in North Bali. The\npresence of new facilities and improved lighting is expected to make\ntourists enjoy the beach atmosphere, both during the day and at\nnight.<\/p>\n<p>The transformation of Lovina has received a positive response from\nlocal tourism operators. One of them, Nyoman Arya Astawa, admitted that\nthe redevelopment of the area had been long awaited by the\ncommunity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe redevelopment of the Lovina area has been anticipated for so\nlong and has now been realised. The community\u2019s enthusiasm is very high\nbecause the atmosphere is vastly different from before,\u201d Arya\nrevealed.<\/p>\n<p>Arya assessed that the Lovina Beach area now appears more organised\nand possesses a new appeal that has the potential to boost visits from\nboth domestic and international tourists.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe change is extraordinary.
