Loss of authority<\/p>\n

B.J. Habibie's is a transitional government. Since its
\ninduction it has come in for sharp criticism by the community and
\nwill again in the future.<\/p>\n
Habibie himself is not a leading figure in society and does
\nnot quite fit the bill of an authoritative leader, especially
\nbecause many of his regulations have caused anxiety and other
\nills.<\/p>\n
As long as the president does not comply with the people's
\naspirations, we cannot hope for the smooth running of his
\ngovernment which will come under the fire of the people's
\ndissatisfaction.<\/p>\n
If we look more deeply into things with our heart and our
\nmind, we feel that Habibie does not work and does not act
\nwholeheartedly in handling the various demands of the people,
\nespecially in disclosing the wealth he has obtained. The key to
\nthis ambivalence is because Habibie is a protege of former
\npresident Soeharto as is the case with Bob Hasan.<\/p>\n
We hope that Habibie can be more rational and think of the
\npeople rather than of the groups which will give rise to unrest
\nleading to mass riots everywhere.<\/p>\n
