Losing money<\/p>\n

I would like to comment on the losses by the state through
\nstate-owned companies in 1999. The losses amounted to Rp 47
\ntrillion.<\/p>\n
Of the 20 state-owned companies, Bank Mandiri occupies first
\nplace with losses of Rp 36 trillion. What is interesting to
\nquestion is why it happened. A cursory observation shows that the
\nmanagers of state-owned companies lead a life that reflects good
\nor high earnings.<\/p>\n
Apart from the impact of the reduced value of the rupiah, the
\nlosses show the rotten condition this country is in. Without
\nunderestimating the managers of said companies, I think the cause
\nof the losses is, among other things, the mental and moral
\nweaknesses of the human resources who have been assigned to
\nmanage the state-owned companies. The government's lack of
\nsupervision is also a mistake.<\/p>\n
If necessary, the state-owned companies should be dissolved
\nthan allowed to continue and become parasites of the state. It is
\nnot precluded to say that the companies only serve to maintain
\ntie-wearing corruptors.<\/p>\n
The state-owned companies and the government should think
\nabout the matter in a more realistic way and be introspective so
\nthat the state does not continue to suffer losses. They should
\ntry not to be parasites of the state. They should remember that
\nall that money belongs to the people and is not a legacy of their
\nancestors.<\/p>\n
