Local cricketers set to begin on Sunday<\/p>\n
JAKARTA : The new season of the Jakarta Cricket Association
\n(JCA) cricket league is due to commence on Sunday, with six of
\nthe ten cricket teams in action.<\/p>\n
Defending champion ISCI cricket club will be seeking to make
\nJCA history by becoming the first team to win the championship
\nthree years in succession.<\/p>\n
According to the President of the JCA, Sachin Gopalan, JCA
\ncontinues to be committed to providing cricket-playing
\nexpatriates in Jakarta with a format to play a decent standard of
\ncompetitive cricket.<\/p>\n
Gopalan said in a press release that he was very proud that
\nseveral JCA players were included on the team to represent
\nIndonesia at the recent ICC world cup qualifying tournament in
\nJapan.<\/p>\n
\"The JCA had a good season last year and we will also organize
\nan international sixes tournament in October and are very
\ninterested in putting on a tournament for expatriate
