Efforts to improve the quality and skills of the workforce are not\nonly carried out by the government through Job Training Centres. A\nnumber of course and training institutions are also active in producing\nskilled and trained workers.<\/p>\n
In Greater Bandung, one such institution is the Nuning Course and\nTraining Institute (LKP). Most recently, this institution has again\nproduced new entrepreneurs in the field of bridal makeup through the\n2026 Entrepreneurial Skills Education (PKW) programme.<\/p>\n
In addition to receiving training, participants are also provided\nwith business start-up equipment so that they can develop their\nbusinesses independently.<\/p>\n
The head of LKP Nuning, Nisma Nurul, said that the closing of the PKW\nprogramme in bridal makeup was held on 20 August 2026. The programme is\nthe result of cooperation between LKP Nuning and the Directorate of\nCourses and Training, Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education\n(Kemendikdasmen).<\/p>\n
The closing event was attended by the Secretary of the Cimahi City\nEducation Office, Reni Herawati, as well as a number of industry\npartners involved in the implementation of the 2026 PKW programme.<\/p>\n
In its implementation, LKP Nuning collaborated with a number of\npartners. These included Inez Cosmetics in the cosmetics industry, Sign\nID Production in digital marketing, Bank BJB in capital provision, as\nwell as HIPMI Cimahi City and Gekrafs West Java in entrepreneurship\ndevelopment.<\/p>\n
After undergoing 350 hours of training and passing technical and\nentrepreneurship evaluations, 20 students domiciled in Cimahi City and\nits surroundings were declared graduates and received certificates of\ncompletion.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn addition to receiving training, the participants also received\nbusiness start-up stimulus goods distributed individually. Each\nparticipant received bridal attire, cosmetics, beauty tools, and\nbusiness marketing support equipment,\u201d said Nisma.<\/p>\n
According to her, after completing the programme, graduates continue\nto receive mentoring from LKP Nuning for one year or until they are able\nto become independent as professional makeup artists.<\/p>\n
Mentoring is carried out through monitoring of business development.\nGraduates are required to submit monthly business start-up progress\nreports to LKP Nuning.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis data will become one of the indicators of the success of this\nPKW programme, as with the success of programmes in previous years,\u201d she\nsaid.<\/p>\n
In addition to business monitoring, LKP Nuning also provides\ngraduates with the opportunity to gain direct work experience as a\nmakeup team (team art) at various events through the cooperation network\nowned by LKP Nuning.<\/p>\n
