Indonesia is witnessing a shift from curative to preventive healthcare, driven by growing public awareness and advanced technology. The introduction of 'Longevity 5.0' by Borderless Healthcare Group integrates AI, cloud computing, and precision medicine to offer personalised, long-term health management. This approach aims to help Indonesians live healthier and more productive lives through gender-specific platforms and a continuum of care extending from clinics to homes.

Public awareness of the importance of healthy living in Indonesia
continues to rise. However, the biggest challenge is often not
knowledge, but consistency in practice. Amidst technological
developments, healthcare services are now transforming from a curative
(treatment) pattern to a preventive one. Actor Samuel Rizal highlighted
the importance of this approach. “Preventive care is important because
lifestyle must be maintained. Now technology is increasingly
sophisticated, many people already know about fitness and a healthy
lifestyle, but not everyone truly practises it. They know, but do not
necessarily do it,” he said. This view aligns with global trends that
emphasise disease prevention and improving quality of life through
digital technology support. Indonesia is entering a new chapter of
preventive healthcare services with the arrival of Longevity 5.0. This
is a long-term health approach integrating artificial intelligence (AI),
cloud computing, and precision medicine. The concept, introduced by
Zeroage.life, a division of Borderless Healthcare Group (BHG), is
designed to help people live healthier, longer, and remain productive.
This service is realised through two gender-specific platforms, namely
SheSpan.life for women and Longevity.men for men. Founder and Chairman
of BHG, Wei Siang Yu, explained that this concept is more than just
extending lifespan. “Longevity is not just about living longer, but how
a person remains healthy physically, mentally, hormonally, and socially
in every phase of their life,” he clarified. If previously health
interventions were centred in clinics, Longevity 5.0 transforms them to
be more personal and sustainable through the concept of a Continuum of
Longevity Experiences (CLE). Healthcare services are no longer limited
to hospitals but are comprehensively connected from clinics and health
resorts to the patient’s home. This model allows patients in Indonesia
to connect with local doctors and a network of global longevity experts
through an integrated cloud system. Chief Development Officer of
Zeroage.life, Yvonne Wong, mentioned that AI integration is its main
foundation. “We are at the intersection between preventive care and
curative care. With Longevity 5.0, health interventions can be carried
out earlier, even before symptoms of disease appear,” said Dr. Yvonne.
AI enables doctors to analyse complex health data—from biomarkers,
microbiomes, epigenetics, to hormonal profiles—to produce more accurate
and personal health plans. Longevity 5.0 understands that the biological
needs of men and women differ at each life phase. The SheSpan.life
platform for women develops services based on four main phases:
menstruation, pregnancy, menopause, and post-menopause. Meanwhile,
Longevity.men is focused on optimising male vitality, from hormonal
health and fitness to sexual health. “Male vitality needs to be
optimised proactively throughout life, not waiting until conditions have
declined,” Yvonne stressed. The presence of Longevity 5.0 does not only
target the general public. BHG also opens opportunities for hospitals,
clinics, and healthcare workers in Indonesia to transform into future
longevity clinics. Furthermore, this transformation is beginning to
penetrate the tourism and wellness sector. Several resorts in Indonesia
are planned to become longevity resorts offering gender-based health
programmes with personal protocols from local and global experts. This
move is considered able to strengthen Indonesia’s position as a wellness
destination in Southeast Asia. With the largest healthcare market in the
region, Indonesia has strong potential to become a centre for regional
longevity service growth.
",
