        "content": "<p>'Living in sin' is expensive<\/p>\n<p>PEKANBARU, Riau (JP): Officials of the Pebanaan village in<br>\nIndragiri Hilir in Riau province will enforce a rule requiring<br>\nall unmarried couples to pay a fine of Rp 50,000 if the woman<br>\ngets pregnant.<\/p>\n<p>Antara reported yesterday that the rule is meant to deter<br>\npeople from 'living in sin' and minimize the likelihood of<br>\n\"reproductive accidents\" among both youngsters and adults.<\/p>\n<p>The \"law\" was made by the village's consultative body, which<br>\nconsists of representatives of different ages and backgrounds.<br>\n\"It is hoped that residents will think twice before they do it<br>\nout of wedlock,\" said Pebanaan village chief Rifwan.<\/p>\n<p>All fine money collected will go to the village coffers,<br>\nRifwan said.
