        "content": "<p>JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com \u2013 Three protest actions are taking place in the\nCentral Jakarta area on Friday (10\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Head of Public Relations Section at Central Jakarta Metro Police\nStation, First Inspector Erlyn Sumantri, stated that the first action is\noccurring in front of the Bank BRI Head Office on Jalan Jenderal\nSudirman, starting at 09:00 WIB.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is a demonstration by the Indonesian Law Students Union in the\nmorning,\u201d Erlyn said in his statement.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the third action is taking place in front of the\nDPR\/MPR Building in Senayan, organised by the Indonesian Youth\nInitiative Movement.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 453 combined police personnel have been deployed to secure\nthe protests.<\/p>\n<p>Traffic engineering will be implemented situationally, depending on\nthe conditions on the ground and the number of participants.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cResidents can seek other alternative routes during the\ndemonstration,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>To avoid congestion on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, drivers heading from\nthe south to the city centre are advised to exit early via Jalan Gatot\nSubroto, then continue to Jalan KH Mas Mansyur towards Tanah Abang and\nHarmoni.<\/p>\n<p>Another alternative is via Jalan HR Rasuna Said, then to Jalan\nProf.\u00a0Dr.\u00a0Satrio, Jalan Casablanca, to Jalan Diponegoro towards\nMenteng.<\/p>\n<p>For drivers heading from the north to the south, it is best not to\ncross Sudirman directly.<\/p>\n<p>Drivers can detour via Jalan Kebon Sirih, Jalan Wahid Hasyim, to\nJalan KH Mas Mansyur, or via Jalan Tomang Raya, Jalan S.
