Lippo introduces new card<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): LippoBank yesterday introduced a new multi-
\nfunction debit card called Lippo Star Card, which can be used to
\npay transactions and to withdraw savings.<\/p>\n
"The card is designed to be within the reach of small-income
\ncustomers since it only requires a minimum savings of Rp 100,000
\n(US$45.87)," LippoBank's president, Markus Permadi, said here
\nyesterday.<\/p>\n
With the multi-function system, Star Card holders can take
\ncash from their savings at the LippoBank's booths anywhere in the
\ncountry and overseas, he said.<\/p>\n
To assure holders of the card's multi-functions, LippoBank
\nyesterday signed cooperation agreements with various companies
\nselling goods and services at the headquarters of the national
\nflag carrier Garuda Indonesia.<\/p>\n
The companies included Garuda, electronic manufacturer PT
\nAmcol Citra Gallery, department store chain Matahari, fast food
\nrestaurant Pizza Hut, Hero Supermarket and publication group
\nGramedia.<\/p>\n
Yesterday's signing ceremony was attended by the Lippo Group's
