To ensure the entire process adheres to\ngood governance principles, Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas\n(PKP) Maruarar Sirait, together with Head of the Investment Management\nAgency (BPI) Danantara Rosan Roeslani and Head of BP BUMN Dony Oskaria,\nheld consultations with Head of the Financial and Development\nSupervisory Agency (BPKP) Muhammad Yusuf Ateh at the BPKP office in East\nJakarta on Monday (22\/6\/2026). He stated that various alternative grant mechanisms were\ndiscussed, prioritising legal certainty, security, and public benefit.\nFollowing the discussion, it was agreed that the land grant from Lippo\nGroup in the Meikarta area would be handed over to the State through the\nMinistry of Finance, specifically the Directorate General of State\nAssets (DJKN). The asset will then be transferred to Danantara and\nsubsequently to the state-owned enterprise assigned to build and manage\nthe subsidised apartments. The grant scheme is non-profit and entirely\ndedicated to supporting the provision of affordable housing for\nlow-income communities. The government hopes this step will serve as a\nmodel for collaboration between the government, state-owned enterprises,\nand the private sector in supporting the national priority programme of\nbuilding 3 million homes. Head of BPI Danantara Rosan Roeslani expressed\nhis appreciation for the support from all parties, ensuring the process\nproceeds according to procedure and with due prudence. He added that the\nprogramme has significant social impact by providing opportunities for\nlow-income communities to obtain decent and affordable housing.
