        "content": "<p>BEKASI, KOMPAS.com \u2013 Management of PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk has issued\nan official statement following the summoning of Ruri, one of its\nemployees, by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in connection\nwith the investigation into assets owned by the inactive Bekasi Regent,\nAde Kuswara Kunang.<\/p>\n<p>The company asserts that the summoning is purely in the capacity of a\nwitness for the purpose of gathering information.<\/p>\n<p>This statement comes after a KPK investigative team examined a staff\nmember from Lippo Cikarang\u2019s legal department to delve into the\ntechnicalities of the purchase of a housing unit suspected to be related\nto the legal case currently being handled by the anti-corruption\nagency.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe summoning was conducted in the capacity of a witness for the\nneeds of information gathering.
