        "content": "<p>Lintasarta selects Nortel<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): Private data communications service provider PT<br>\nAplikanusa Lintasarta will upgrade its equipment with Magellan<br>\nasynchronous transfer mode (ATM) data switches from Canadian firm<br>\nNortel.<\/p>\n<p>Nortel announced yesterday Lintasarta would provide nationwide<br>\ndata network services for 35 Indonesian cities by the end of the<br>\nyear with ATM services by 1999.<\/p>\n<p>Nortel will then manage Lintasarta&apos;s network and allow it to<br>\nperform fault management, configuration management and network<br>\nplanning on platform.<\/p>\n<p>Nortel gained US$12.8 billion in revenue last year designing,<br>\nbuilding and integrating digital networks for information,<br>\nentertainment and education worldwide.
