Lintasarta has introduced its Bandwidth on Demand (BWoD) solution to\naddress the banking sector\u2019s need for more flexible digital\ninfrastructure. This solution enables banks to adjust bandwidth capacity\nin accordance with their operational requirements.<\/p>\n
BWoD was introduced during the Lintasarta Executive Dialogue, themed\n\u2018Mastering Digital Infrastructure in the Intelligent Banking Era Through\nBandwidth on Demand (BWoD)\u2019, held in Jakarta on Thursday (10\/09). The\nforum brought together leaders from national and multinational banks\nbelonging to HIMBARA, PERBANAS, and ASBANDA, as well as officials from\nBank Indonesia and the Financial Services Authority (OJK), alongside the\nboard of directors of Lisingtarta.<\/p>\n
President Director and CEO of Lintasarta, Armand Hermawan, emphasised\nthat banking digitalisation does not only demand large capacity.\nAccording to him, the banking industry also requires infrastructure\nsupport capable of moving quickly to follow rapid changes in business\nneeds.<\/p>\n
\u201cDigital infrastructure is not enough to merely have large capacity;\nit must be able to adapt quickly, flexibly, and in a measurable manner,\u201d\nArmand stated in a written release on Monday (14\/09\/2026).<\/p>\n
Armand added that banking capacity can fluctuate during month-end,\nyear-end closing, payroll processing, disaster recovery, application\nlaunches, or unscheduled conditions. Therefore, connectivity needs to\nevolve from fixed infrastructure to something more adaptive.<\/p>\n
This transformation needs to be supported by four key capabilities:\nAgility in responding to change, Scalability in adjusting capacity,\nResilience in maintaining reliability, and Readiness to face peak\nevents, disaster recovery, and regulatory demands.<\/p>\n
Through BWoD, following the initial setup process, subsequent\nbandwidth changes can be performed independently via ULTIMA without\nmanual ordering or new installations. Capacity can be adjusted based on\nsubscribed services, with support of up to 1,000 Mbps on certain\ntiers.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe want to provide agility to banks to manage connectivity capacity\naccording to their operational needs,\u201d said Armand.<\/p>\n
BWoD is one of the implementations of Lintasarta Intelligent Core,\nwhich integrates customers, the ULTIMA Super App, the Intelligent Core\nEngine, and the core network into a process that supports real-time\nexecution and autonomous decision-making. This approach allows\nconnectivity management to be conducted more quickly and\nautomatically.<\/p>\n
In its initial phase, BWoD is available in 84 cities across Java in\n2026, with coverage expanding gradually towards a national scale. This\ninnovation strengthens Lintasarta\u2019s commitment as a digital\ninfrastructure partner for banking, providing connectivity that is more\nadaptive to business needs.<\/p>\n
