        "content": "<p>Visioner Indonesia has invited the public to respond objectively and\nproportionally to information regarding the State Officials\u2019 Wealth\nReport (LHKPN) of the Southeast Sulawesi Governor, Andi Sumangerukka\n(ASR).<\/p>\n<p>The Secretary General of Visioner Indonesia, Akril Abdillah, said\nthat the LHKPN is a transparency instrument required of every state\nofficial. Therefore, changes in the value of assets in the report should\nbe understood as part of public officials\u2019 openness towards society,\nrather than being immediately interpreted as something negative.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe LHKPN is a form of commitment to transparency. When all assets\nare reported openly to the KPK, it demonstrates compliance with\napplicable regulations. The public certainly has the right to\nscrutinise, but any assessment must also be carried out fairly and based\non complete facts,\u201d said Akril on Thursday (16\/7\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>According to him, increases in the value of wealth listed in the\nLHKPN can be influenced by various factors, ranging from additional\nassets, changes in investment values, lawful transactions, to market\nvalue changes on owned assets. All of these can be verified through\nmechanisms established by the KPK.<\/p>\n<p>He also expressed appreciation for the consistency of Governor ASR,\nwho has demonstrated his commitment to government integrity, including\nhis pledge to donate his salary and various facilities of office to\nsupport education for underprivileged communities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis commitment shows that the orientation of Mr Andi Sumangerukka\u2019s\nleadership is not limited to physical development, but also human\nresource development. Steps such as these deserve appreciation as a form\nof care for the future of Southeast Sulawesi\u2019s younger generation,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>Akril added that ASR\u2019s leadership has also been assessed as focused\non accelerating infrastructure development, improving public services,\nstrengthening investment, and programmes that deliver direct benefits to\nthe community.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe believe the people of Southeast Sulawesi are increasingly astute\nin responding to various pieces of information. Therefore, we invite all\nparties to uphold the presumption of innocence, respect applicable legal\nmechanisms, and not rush to draw conclusions that are not yet based on\nthe findings of the authorised institutions,\u201d Akril concluded.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGood leadership is born of transparency, real work, and a\nwillingness to be scrutinised.
