        "content": "<p>Levy collection for truck drivers<\/p>\n<p>TANGERANG: Tangerang municipal administration had resumed<br>\ncollecting a road levy imposed on truck drivers that had been<br>\nsuspended two weeks ago following violent protests by the<br>\ndrivers, an official said on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Administration spokesman Hery Kusnadi said that collection of<br>\nthe levy had resumed because the protests, which resulted in<br>\ndamage to 16 collection booths, had been masterminded by<br>\nhoodlums.<\/p>\n<p>\"Moreover, none of the truck companies has filed complaints in<br>\nconnection with the imposed levy,\" he added.<\/p>\n<p>The administration began imposing the levy last month, based<br>\non bylaw No.3\/2001 on the use of public roads.<\/p>\n<p>Truck drivers are charged between Rp 3,500 and Rp 7,500,<br>\ndepending on truck load capacity each time they pass through the<br>\nbooths.
