        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - MPR RI Deputy Chair Lestari Moerdijat stated that\nthe option of online learning methods as one of the government\u2019s efforts\nto save fuel oil (BBM) consumption must be prepared thoroughly. Lestari,\nas per a statement received in Jakarta on Tuesday, explained that\nthorough preparation is necessary to ensure the teaching and learning\nprocess still yields the expected results. \u201cA number of comprehensive\ntechnical steps, synchronising policies between ministries and regional\ngovernments, must be taken to ensure that no child loses their right to\neducation in the implementation of online learning policies,\u201d she said.\nIn addition, Lestari emphasised that the fuel-saving plan by changing\nthe learning method must be fully understood by implementers in the\nfield. The implementation of distance learning (PJJ) during the COVID-19\npandemic must serve as a lesson. At that time, she said, several\nchallenges emerged, such as teachers being unprepared, parents burdened\nby online methods, and ultimately the quality of student learning\ndeclining. \u201cDo not let the same mistakes be repeated, so it is important\nto prepare thoroughly,\u201d said Lestari, who is also a member of DPR RI\nCommission X handling education affairs.
