The disclosure of alleged corruption in the purchase of
\nScorpion tanks means considerable progress in the unveiling of
\ncases that were formerly seen as untouchable, but the flow of
\nfunds in such cases should also be traced.<\/p>\n
If the funds as commission went to the accounts of state
\nagencies, there is no need to examine the people concerned
\nbecause whoever negotiated or closed the business deal becomes
\nirrelevant.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the anticorruption team in charge should also
\ntarget minor and medium-sized graft cases still widespread in
\npublic institutions, because many of those involved are unaware
\nor pretend to be ignorant of the illegal practice.<\/p>\n
Public officials should serve society without charging
\nunnecessary fees and make purchases on behalf of the state so
\nthat all commission received goes to the state treasury.<\/p>\n
