        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Rizki Faisal, a member of Commission III of the\nIndonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), has asserted that\neradicating narcotics is insufficient by merely arresting perpetrators;\nit is essential also to sever the flow of funds and the financial power\nbehind drug networks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe war on narcotics is not enough by just arresting the\nperpetrators. The main strength of drug networks is not only the illicit\ngoods but the flow of money and the financial power behind them,\u201d said\nRizki in a written statement in Jakarta on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, as long as drug kingpins can still enjoy the\nproceeds of crime and their assets remain secure, the narcotics\ndistribution network will continue to thrive and damage the nation\u2019s\ngenerations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday\u2019s law enforcement must sever the money trail, dismantle money\nlaundering crimes, and seize all assets from narcotics-related\noffences,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>He also appreciated the steps taken by the Indonesian National Police\n(Polri), which he deemed bold in targeting drug networks to their roots,\nincluding against internal elements involved.<\/p>\n<p>According to Rizki, the courage to act without discrimination is an\nimportant part of Polri\u2019s reform.<\/p>\n<p>A strong Polri, said Rizki, is one that dares to take action against\nanyone, for the safety of the nation\u2019s generations and Indonesia\u2019s\nfuture.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe must impoverish the kingpins, disrupt their networks, and ensure\nthat the state does not lose to narcotics,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>",
