A female employee explained to me in an unfriendly<br>\nmanner that according to Dutch regulations the birth certificate<br>\nmust be renewed every five years, and as far as my daughter's<br>\nbirth certificate is concerned, the embassy could help legalize<br>\nthe renewed certificate. The staff did not bother to ask if I<br>\ncould get a new certificate. The thing is that a birth<br>\ncertificate cannot be renewed unless the original one is lost.<br>\nThe legalization process in the Dutch Embassy will cost me Rp<br>\n138.000.<\/p>\n<p>I am now confused.
