Lee's ailment 'no worry'<\/p>\n
SINGAPORE (Reuter): The hospitalization of Singapore elder
\nstatesman Lee Kuan Yew for a respiratory infection was not a
\ncause for worry, Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong said yesterday.<\/p>\n
State television said Goh told reporters at a constituency
\nevent that Lee's ailment was sinus-related and was nothing to
\nworry about.<\/p>\n
The Prime Minister's office said Saturday that Lee was in
\nstable condition after being hospitalized for an acute
\nrespiratory tract infection, which involved the sinuses and
\nrequired intravenous antibiotics.<\/p>\n
A prominent Singapore physician said Lee's ailment did not
\nsound serious and that he seemed to have contracted a form of
\nbronchitis, possibly aggravated by over-exertion.<\/p>",
