\nstrokes clear in the LPGAs CJ Nine Bridges Classic despite two
\ndouble bogeys late on Saturday in the second round.<\/p>\n
Lee carded a 1-over 73 and led the tournament at 6-under 138,
\nthree clear of compatriots Kim Mi-hyun and Jeong Jang.<\/p>\n
Annika Sorenstam struggled with her putts as strong winds
\nbuffeted the island course. She was 6-over after consecutive
\nrounds of 75.<\/p>\n
Bogeys at the third, fourth and 14th holes left the top-ranked

NEW DELHI: Thaworn Wiratchant stayed on course to win the
\nIndian Open Golf tournament after carding a four-under-par 68 in
\nSaturday's third round for a three-shot lead.<\/p>\n
The Thai, who leads the Asian Tour Order of Merit after two
\nwins this year, including the Indonesia Open in Jakarta in March,
\nfinished ahead of young compatriot Prom Meesawat and South
\nAfrican Hendrik Buhrmann.<\/p>\n
Meesawat and Buhrmann hit a 69 each at the par-72 Delhi Golf
\nClub to lie joint second on 205 against Thaworn's 14-under 202.

LONDON: Former soccer star George Best continued to improve on
\nSaturday from a series of life-threatening infections, but
\nremained in intensive care.<\/p>\n
Best remained on a ventilator as doctors continue to treat
\ninternal bleeding and various infections, his doctor said.<\/p>\n
The 59-year-old former Manchester United star, who had a
\nlifesaving liver transplant three years ago but went back to hard
\ndrinking, has been in a hospital's intensive care unit for a
\nmonth.<\/p>\n
\"On the whole there has been a very definite improvement in
\nhis condition but he is still requiring a lot of care,\" said Dr.
\nRoger Williams, who is in charge of Best's care at Cromwell
\nHospital in west London. \"He is better than yesterday (Friday).\"
