The\nGovernor appreciated the consistency of the community and local\ngovernment in preserving Lebaran Topat as a distinctive Sasak cultural\nidentity. According to him, the celebration held every 8th of Syawal is\nnot only the closing of the Eid al-Fitr series, but a moment full of\nmeaning. The philosophy of ketupat with its four sides\u2014Lebaran, Luberan,\nLeburan, and Labur\u2014symbolises the perfection of worship, sincerity in\nsharing, mutual forgiveness, and a return to personal purity. Since\nmorning, thousands of people crowded the Senggigi area wearing their\nbest attire and carrying trays of ketupat and typical dishes.
