As of 29 March 2026
at 10:00 WIB, based on booking data, at least 202,279 long-distance
train passengers will travel today, with temporary occupancy reaching
123.8% and potential for further increases.

Vice President Corporate Communication of KAI, Anne Purba, stated
that the dynamics of this year’s Lebaran travel show increasingly
dispersed mobility patterns. Since mid-March, the volume of
long-distance train passengers has continued to rise.

“And currently, we are still in the return flow phase. Additionally, the Silaturahmi Promo offers a
20 percent discount on executive class tickets for the period from 25
March to 1 April 2026.

Several trains with high booking rates during the Lebaran period
include KA Joglosemarkerto, KA Airlangga, KA Sri Tanjung, KA Bengawan,
KA Kahuripan, KA Rajabasa, and KA Jayakarta.

“Passenger movements at stations open up seat availability
opportunities.
