        "content": "<p>The government claims that prices of essential goods during Ramadan\nup to Eid al-Fitr 2026 are more stable compared to the same period last\nyear. This condition is seen as an important factor in maintaining\npeople\u2019s purchasing power without triggering a surge in inflation.<\/p>\n<p>Trade Minister Budi Santoso stated that as of 27 March 2026, several\nmajor commodities such as rice, granulated sugar, Minyakita, shallots,\nchillies, and garlic showed relatively lower price trends compared to\nthe previous Ramadan-Eid al-Fitr period.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe daily price movement pattern is also normal, with a gradual\nincrease leading up to Eid al-Fitr and stabilising afterwards, without\nsignificant fluctuations. This indicates that supply and distribution\nare well-maintained,\u201d he said during a press conference in Jakarta on\nWednesday (1\/4).<\/p>\n<p>The stability of these prices reflects the relatively good running of\ndistribution and availability of goods in the field.
