She stated that based
on traffic data, the vehicle volume from Cikampek towards Jakarta
through the MBZ Elevated Road was recorded at 30,880 vehicles, down 7.25
percent compared to normal traffic of 33,293 vehicles. Compared to
vehicle mobility the previous day, the volume heading to Jakarta
decreased from 35,120 vehicles to 30,880 vehicles, or a drop of 12.07
percent. Meanwhile, in the opposite direction, leaving Jakarta, the
vehicle volume was recorded at 16,312 vehicles, down 29.81 percent
compared to normal traffic of 23,241 vehicles. Compared to Saturday
(28/3), the vehicle volume leaving Jakarta also decreased from 20,036 to
16,312 vehicles, or a drop of 18.58 percent, indicating that outbound
movement from Jakarta is increasingly reducing. “The comparison of
vehicle volumes in both directions shows that traffic conditions on the
MBZ Elevated Road section are starting to experience a gradual decrease
after the return period,” she said. The company continues to urge road
users passing through the MBZ Elevated Road to always prioritise safety
by ensuring the driver’s and vehicle’s condition is optimal, as well as
maintaining sufficient battery power or fuel. To anticipate potential
weather changes, especially during rain conditions that can affect
visibility and road surface conditions, so that the journey can proceed
safely and comfortably until reaching the destination.
