        "content": "<p>Leading RI brands make Superbrands list<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: Nearly 30 leading brands owned by Indonesians or operating in<br>\nthe country have been named Superbrands by the world's leading<br>\nindependent arbiter of branding.<\/p>\n<p>Superbrands International chief executive officer Victor<br>\nJeffery presented certificates during an upmarket presentation<br>\nceremony at Zoom Resto and Lounge in Central Jakarta on<br>\nWednesday.<\/p>\n<p>The brands were: Adidas, Anlene, ANZ Bank, Avon, Bagus,<br>\nBimoli, Djarum, Dji Sam Soe, Energizer, Eveready, Garuda<br>\nIndonesia, Goodyear, Great River, Indofood, Indomie, Indomilk,<br>\nMetro TV, Nokia, Optik Tunggal, Tahapan BCA, Olympic Furniture,<br>\nSatelindo, Shell Helix, Sony Ericsson, Sosro, Total Bangun<br>\nPersada, Telkomsel and Yonex.<\/p>\n<p>Founded in London 12 years ago, Superbrands has recognized and<br>\npublicized the achievements of thousands of outstanding brands<br>\nworldwide.<\/p>\n<p>The Indonesian brands were evaluated and qualitatively<br>\nassessed using the strictest criteria by a local Superbrands<br>\nCouncil, which comprises luminaries in the branding, media and<br>\ncommunications industries.<\/p>\n<p>Superbrands was expected to name a further 72 Indonesian<br>\nbrands by the end of the year, for inclusion in a book to<br>\ndistributed worldwide. -- JP<\/p>",
