        "content": "<p>Leadership row goes on at noted &apos;Analisa&apos; daily<\/p>\n<p>Apriadi Gunawan, The Jakarta Post, Medan<\/p>\n<p>The dispute among the co-founders of the Medan-based Analisa<br>\ndaily remains unsettled with plaintiff Supandi Kusuma complaining<br>\nthat the management of the daily has yet to carry out a February<br>\ncourt order that his status be restored.<\/p>\n<p>Lawyer Umar Witariyo, who represents Supandi, said on Friday<br>\nthat the management had yet to restore the status of his client,<br>\nwho was deputy general manager of the daily and treasurer of the<br>\npublishing company -- the Sikap Pres Foundation -- after the<br>\nlatter was ousted from the daily&apos;s management board in December<br>\nlast year.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;To this point, the accused has yet to carry out the court&apos;s<br>\norder,&quot; Umar told The Jakarta Post.<\/p>\n<p>On Feb. 27, the court issued a decision, ordering the<br>\nmanagement to dissolve three of its official documents which had<br>\nnullified Supandi&apos;s status and rights as the deputy general<br>\nmanager.<\/p>\n<p>The case centers around a meeting held on Dec. 14, 2001 which<br>\nwas attended by the Foundation&apos;s chairman Harta Susanto, the<br>\ncommissioner Joeli Salim and representatives of the worker&apos;s<br>\nwelfare foundation -- Januar Junaedi, Sabrina, and Jusna Wijaya<br>\n-- and public notary Siti Asni Pohan.<\/p>\n<p>Supandi had missed the meeting, claiming that the invitation<br>\nsent by the management stated that the meeting was scheduled for<br>\nDec. 18, 2001.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting issued three documents which included, the<br>\ndecision to change Supandi&apos;s position as the treasurer of the<br>\nFoundation into a member of the board of commissioners and that<br>\nSupandi was no longer the deputy general manager.<\/p>\n<p>Following the meeting, Supandi&apos;s name was no longer mentioned<br>\nin the daily&apos;s masthead.<\/p>\n<p>After several ignored complaints, Supandi then took the case<br>\nto court.<\/p>\n<p>However, Harta Susanto, who is also Chief Editor of Analisa,<br>\ndismissed the accusation that he had ignored the court&apos;s order,<br>\nsaying that the court had never ordered him to put Supandi&apos;s name<br>\nback in the masthead.<\/p>\n<p>Harta&apos;s lawyer Sofwan Tambunan told the Post on Friday that<br>\nhis client had postponed the implementation of the three<br>\ndocuments.<\/p>\n<p>Sofwan, however, failed to elaborate on the reasons behind<br>\nSupandi&apos;s dismissal, saying that it was the policy taken by Harta<br>\nSusanto.<\/p>",
