        "content": "<p>Surabaya (ANTARA) - NU Care-LAZISNU East Java has set up four\ncommunity kitchen sites to assist with sahur and iftar needs of disaster\nsurvivors in Aceh Tamiang Regency, Aceh Province, during Ramadan 1447\nHijriah.<\/p>\n<p>LAZISNU East Java Community Kitchen Team member Ahmad Syaiful said\nthe kitchens are spread across Kota Lintang Bawah Village, Banai\nVillage, Menanggini Village, and one location in the East Aceh area.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe community kitchens are spread across four sites to ensure\nresidents\u2019 sahur and iftar needs are met during the recovery period,\u201d\nAhmad said when contacted from Surabaya on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that logistics distribution is focused on supporting the\ncommunity kitchen operations during the first few days of Ramadan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe logistics we have sent are projected to cover needs for up to\nfour days ahead, specifically for sahur and iftar with residents,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, NU Care-LAZISNU East Java Programme Manager M. Risal\nSyarifuddin said the aid distributed is currently focused on supporting\noperations at the four kitchen locations.<\/p>\n<p>The assistance includes 60 boxes of instant noodles divided equally\namong the four sites, 25-kilogramme and five-kilogramme packs of rice,\ncooking oil, seasoning, and salt.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to basic provisions, LAZISNU East Java also supplied\nkitchen equipment including two-burner stoves, a single-burner\nhigh-pressure stove, a blender, and one rice cooker.<\/p>\n<p>However, several needs remain unmet, particularly for the community\nkitchen in the East Aceh area, including additional two-burner stoves, a\nblender, cooking oil, seasoning, and salt.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese shortfalls will be addressed promptly through follow-up\nbudgeting that has been previously discussed,\u201d Risal said.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond community kitchen support, LAZISNU East Java is also preparing\na programme to distribute packages of decent used clothing and Ramadan\nsupplies for the community ahead of Eid al-Fitr, as part of efforts to\nbring joy amid hardship.<\/p>\n<p>Aceh Tamiang Regency remains in the recovery phase following flash\nfloods that struck at the end of November 2025.<\/p>",
