Lawyers want single Asaba case file<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: Lawyers of businessman Gunawan Santosa, the prime
\nsuspect in the murder case of PT Aneka Sarana Bakti (Asaba)
\npresident director Boedyharto Angsono, asked police to compile
\nhis dossiers into a single case file for smoother proceedings.<\/p>\n
"We can shorten the legal proceedings by compiling the
\ndossiers into one case file," head of Gunawan's legal team,
\nAlamsyah Hanafiah, said on Thursday.<\/p>\n
Gunawan is charged with arranging the contract killings of
\nBoedyharto and his bodyguard, Army's Special Forces (Kopassus)
\nSecond Sgt. Edy Siyep. Gunawan is also charged with attempted
\nmurder against Asaba finance director Paulus Tejakusuma, as well
\nas document fraud.<\/p>\n
City Police chief of detectives Sr. Comr. Mathius Salempang
\nsaid police had completed the first set of dossiers on the
\nmurders of Boedyharto and Edy, which would soon be submitted to
\nthe Jakarta Prosecutor's Office.<\/p>\n
"A single dossier or several will not affect the sentences the
