        "content": "<p>Lawsuit against `Sinar&apos; dropped<\/p>\n<p>The powerful Pemuda Pancasila youth organization has revoked<br>\nits lawsuit filed at the Central Jakarta District Court against<br>\nSinar magazine.<\/p>\n<p>A letter of revocation for the lawsuit was sent by Pemuda<br>\nPancasila&apos;s lawyer Martua Siregar on Oct. 5, 1994, to the court,<br>\na copy of which was made available to The Jakarta Post Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>The letter did not disclose the reason behind the revocation.<\/p>\n<p>Sinar&apos;s front page story about debt collectors in August<br>\nfollowed the murder of one of the notorious debt collectors. The<br>\narticle claimed that Pemuda Pancasila was also a debt-collecting<br>\ngroup.<\/p>\n<p>The report drew criticism from Pemuda Pancasila and prompted<br>\nits chairman, Yapto Soerjosoemarno, to file the lawsuit.<\/p>\n<p>Weeks later, however, Yapto&apos;s rebuttal was published in Sinar<br>\nsubsequently cooling down the tense situation.
