\u201cThis incident must be a moment for comprehensive evaluation. Public\ntransportation is the backbone of Jakarta\u2019s mobility, so the aspect of\nsafety cannot be compromised,\u201d said Kenneth in Jakarta, Thursday.<\/p>\n
According to Bang Kent, as Hardiyanto Kenneth is affectionately\nknown, public trust in mass transportation services depends on the\nconsistency of management in maintaining safety standards and the\nprofessionalism of drivers.<\/p>\n
Therefore, he encourages Transjakarta management to carry out a\ncomprehensive overhaul, especially in the driver recruitment system.<\/p>\n
The member of Commission C of the Jakarta DPRD highlighted that the\nrecruitment process has involved third parties or private companies.\nThis scheme is considered managerially sound, but supervision of the\nquality of selection and standardization of competence must be\ntightened.<\/p>\n
Bang Kent proposed a comprehensive refresher of the training system\nthrough more intensive coordination between Transjakarta and third-party\nlabor providers.<\/p>\n
He believes that the existing training needs to be maximized, not\njust as an administrative formality. Moreover, Transjakarta has a\nTraining Academy, so its role and function should be maximized.<\/p>\n

He hopes that this program is important as a form of refresher\ntraining to update safety standards in accordance with the dynamics on\nthe ground.<\/p>\n
