Landslide kills at least three<\/p>\n
DENPASAR, Bali: Three people were killed and another was
\nmissing on Sunday after a landslide destroyed their house in the
\nvillage of Angansari in Bali, 75 kilometers northeast of here.<\/p>\n
Antara reported on Tuesday that the bodies of I Ketut Srinadi,
\n60, and two of his grandchildren, three-year-old I Gede Partha
\nand eight-month-old Ni Made Ratmiati, were recovered from the
\ndestroyed house. As of Tuesday rescue workers were still
\nsearching for two-year-old Kadek Sarga.<\/p>\n
Srinadi's wife, Ni Wayan Kita, was seriously injured in the
\naccident and is being treated at Bangli Hospital.<\/p>\n
The five were in the house, which was located at the foot of a
\nsteep hill, when the landslide occurred, the spokesman for the
\nBangli administration, Ida Bagus Beratha, said.<\/p>\n
The owner of the house, I Made Wirtama, who is Srinadi's son,
\nand his wife were not at home when the landslide hit. The house
\nwas isolated from other houses in the village.<\/p>\n
\"Landslides on the hillside often occur when it rains, but
\nthis landslide is the worst,\" a resident said.<\/p>",
