        "content": "<p>Access to the Mount Bromo tourist area remains open and unaffected by\nthe landslide that occurred in the Bukit Kedaluh area, also known as\nBukit King Kong, in Pasuruan Regency, East Java, on Monday (25\/2).<\/p>\n<p>The Head of Public Relations at the Bromo Tengger Semeru National\nPark (TNBTS), Endrip Wahyutama, stated that the landslide had blocked a\nportion of the road.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is still safe. The landslide occurred on a section of the road,\u201d\nEndrip said when confirmed by CNNIndonesia.com.<\/p>\n<p>Endrip added that visitors could still pass through to descend to the\nSea of Sand area by using routes that were not affected by the\nlandslide.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause the location is at the Bukit Kedaluh viewpoint, visitors\ncoming from the Penanjakan area can still pass through and descend to\nthe Sea of Sand in turns on the route that is not affected by the\nlandslide,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors can also still access the Lemah Pasar area, previously known\nas Bukit Cinta, as traffic to this destination was not affected by the\nlandslide material.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMeanwhile, the area around the Lemah Pasar viewpoint or Bukit Cinta\nis not affected by the landslide,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The Mount Bromo area was reported to have experienced a landslide,\nspecifically around the Bukit Kedaluh or Bukit King Kong area in\nPasuruan Regency, East Java. As a result, several vehicles were buried\nin the landslide material.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of Public Relations at the Bromo Tengger Semeru National\nPark (TNBTS), Endrip Wahyutama, said that the landslide occurred this\nmorning at around 05:30 WIB.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe would like to inform you that the landslide occurred on the road\nsection around the Bukit Kedaluh viewpoint, with an estimated width of\nabout 15 x 10 meters,\u201d said Endrip on Wednesday (25\/2).<\/p>\n<p>Endrip said that there were no casualties in this incident. However,\nseveral motorcycles belonging to tourism service providers were reported\nto be buried in the landslide material, with some of them having been\nsuccessfully evacuated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis incident did not cause any casualties. However, seven\nmotorcycles belonging to tourism service providers were reported to be\nburied in the landslide material, with two of them still unable to be\nevacuated,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, officers from the Penanjakan Mountain Area Resort, along\nwith tourism service providers and local residents, are at the location\nto monitor and handle the situation.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, heavy equipment from the East Java Provincial Public Works\nDepartment is on its way to the location to speed up the evacuation and\nhandling of the landslide\u2019s impact.<\/p>",
