        "content": "<p>The National Institute of Public Administration (LAN) will integrate\nanti-corruption material into the performance assessment process for\nstate civil servants (ASN) in a bid to strengthen integrity and\nanti-corruption culture. LAN Chairman Muhammad Taufiq stated that\nanti-corruption material will be delivered in stages, from prospective\nASN candidates to senior leadership officials, through various education\nand training programmes. \u201cThrough this new policy, knowledge of\nanti-corruption will become part of the learning process as well as the\nperformance assessment of ASN,\u201d Taufiq said following the national\nlaunch of the ASN Berintegritas (Integrity ASN) e-learning platform at\nthe LAN office in Jakarta on Tuesday. He stressed that anti-corruption\neducation must be applied from the very beginning of a person\u2019s career\nas an ASN. This is to ensure that the individual has a strong foundation\nof integrity and understands the risks of ethical and legal violations.\n\u201cAnti-corruption material is taught from the time a person is still a\nprospective ASN until they attend the highest level of leadership\ntraining,\u201d he said. Taufiq added that understanding of practices\nclassified as corruption must be continuously strengthened among ASN.\n\u201cWe want to reinforce ASN\u2019s understanding of various forms of violations\nthat are often considered trivial. For example, in some cases, ASN who\nwere arrested for corruption thought that what they received was just an\nordinary gift,\u201d Taufiq explained. He expressed hope that this measure\nwould help build ASN who are professional, trusted by the public, and\ncapable of supporting the realisation of clean governance. \u201cWe hope this\ncan be a breakthrough in building ASN that the public can trust,\u201d he\nsaid. On the same occasion, Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK)\nChairman Setyo Budiyanto targeted the implementation of the Integrity\nASN e-learning programme for approximately 6.7 million civil servants.\nSetyo explained that the programme had been piloted in 12 agencies in\n2026 and expanded to 10 other agencies. He said the KPK and other\nrelevant agencies will continue to make improvements in the\nimplementation of the e-learning. \u201cWe hope the implementation will get\nbetter. Existing shortcomings will continue to be fixed so that the\nresults are maximised,\u201d he said. Setyo expressed hope that the target of\nimplementing integrity learning for all ASN, planned for completion by\n2029, can be accelerated through collaboration between various\nministries, agencies, and regional governments.<\/p>",
