        "content": "<p>The Lamongan Regency Transportation Agency (Dishub) is preparing to\ndigitalise parking retribution payments through a non-cash system. The\nLamongan Regency Government has already identified several parking\nlocations that will implement this new system.<\/p>\n<p>This programme is a follow-up to a partnership between the Lamongan\nRegency Government and PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Timur Tbk (Bank\nJatim), Lamongan Branch. The implementation of parking payments using\nQRIS will begin with a soft launch on Monday, 10 August.<\/p>\n<p>The Regent of Lamongan, Yuhronur Efendi, stated that the\ndigitalisation of parking retribution payments is expected to increase\nthe effectiveness and efficiency of regional original income (PAD)\ncollection. \u201cWe have signed a memorandum of understanding with Bank\nJatim and the Transportation Agency for the implementation of parking\npayments using QRIS. The hope is that this digitalisation can increase\nPAD from the parking retribution sector because the payment system is\nmore accurate, accountable, and provides better service, while also\nbeing able to minimise the potential for fraud,\u201d said Yuhronur on\nSaturday (1\/8).<\/p>\n<p>The Head of the Lamongan Regency Transportation Agency, Dianto Hari\nWibowo, added that the implementation of non-cash parking payments is\npart of a transformation in parking service governance to increase\ntransparency, maintain public trust, and protect parking officers from\npotential misuse. According to Dianto, the system will be applied to\napproximately 43 parking spots managed by the Transportation Agency in\nthe Lamongan and Babat districts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are optimistic that all officers are ready to support the\nimplementation of this programme. In addition to improving service\nquality, this system is also expected to minimise the potential for\nirregularities that could reduce PAD,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Leader of Bank Jatim Lamongan Branch, Bindan Seno Aji,\nstated that the non-cash payment innovation will make parking\nretribution transactions faster, easier, and more accurate. \u201cParking\nretribution management can also be monitored and evaluated in real time.\nThe implementation will begin with a soft launch on 10 August,\naccompanied by socialisation to the public and officers. Subsequently, a\ngrand launch will be held after the socialisation period is complete,\u201d\nhe concluded.<\/p>",
