Labor supplier in trouble<\/p>\n
TANGERANG (JP): A labor recruiting company is in trouble for
\nallegedly misusing a vocational training center in the posh
\nModernland housing complex to board 250 women seeking employment
\noverseas.<\/p>\n
The regency has threatened to close down PT Rajasa Intama if
\nthe company is found guilty of misusing its permit for the
\nbuilding and failing to provide training for the job seekers.<\/p>\n
Government officials said the training center was closed to
\noutside visitors and that the women, supposedly being trained for
\nbetween two months and six months, were not allowed to leave the
\nfacility during training periods.<\/p>\n
The head of the Ministry of Manpower's Tengerang office, Apon
\nSuryana, said the building was simply not furnished to house the
\njob seekers.<\/p>\n
The company's management will be summoned to the manpower
\noffice for questioning, he said.<\/p>\n
\"If they are found guilty of violating the regulations, we
\nwill revoke their business permit,\" he said.<\/p>\n
The company's director, Usman, admitted that he had no permit
