Kupang, NTT (ANTARA) \u2014 The Investment and One-Stop Integrated\nServices Agency (DPMPTSP) of Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara, has\nrecorded 1,367 new Business Identification Numbers (NIB) officially\nregistered through the Online Single Submission (OSS) system during the\nJanuary\u2013May 2025 period.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere were 1,367 new NIBs issued in Kupang City from January to May\n2025,\u201d said Acting Secretary of Kupang City\u2019s DPMPTSP, Penina Lauata, in\nKupang on Thursday.<\/p>\n
The monthly breakdown is as follows: January (208 NIBs), February\n(326 NIBs), March (274 NIBs), April (263 NIBs) and May (296 NIBs),\nbringing the total to 1,367.<\/p>\n
She explained that the issuance of an NIB serves as proof of business\nlegality, making it essential for every business operator and MSME\npractitioner in Kupang City to obtain one. Once registered, an NIB has\nno expiry date and remains valid for as long as the business is\noperational.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe issuance of NIBs is conducted online, processed quickly, and is\nfree of charge \u2014 this is something the wider public needs to be aware\nof,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
She noted that NIB registration is carried out online, allowing\nbusiness operators to access the service independently through the\noss.go.id website or the OSS Indonesia application.<\/p>\n
\u201cHowever, if members of the public are unable to complete the process\nindependently, it is the duty of DPMPTSP to facilitate or directly\nassist them with the registration,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
To this end, in addition to the assistance counter at the DPMPTSP\noffice and Kupang City\u2019s Public Service Mall (MPP), the agency also\nprovides NIB registration services every Saturday morning at the El Tari\nCar Free Day venue in Kupang.<\/p>\n
The agency is also conducting socialisation efforts, including\ntechnical guidance sessions and similar initiatives, to educate the\npublic on the benefits and procedures for obtaining an NIB online.<\/p>\n
