The Kulon Progo Prosecutor\u2019s Office is continuing its investigation\ninto alleged corruption related to financial management at PT Selo\nAdikarto (SAK) between 2016 and 2024. The investigation process is still\nongoing, and a number of witnesses have been examined.<\/p>\n
The Head of Intelligence at the Kulon Progo Prosecutor\u2019s Office,\nHendra, said that the investigative team is carrying out the\ninvestigation process to collect evidence. He said that a total of 25\nwitnesses have been examined, consisting of PT SAK executives and the\nKulon Progo Regional Government.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe investigative team has examined 25 witnesses, consisting of PT\nSelo Adikarto executives and the Kulon Progo Regional Government,\u201d said\nHendra in a written statement, Tuesday (24\/2\/2026).<\/p>\n
Hendra explained that the investigative team had requested a public\naccountant to calculate the company\u2019s financial statements for the\nperiod 2016-2024.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe results will be submitted to the auditor to calculate the\nfinancial losses to the state,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
In addition, his party also requested an investment audit from the\nYKPN Polytechnic. The aim is to ensure the flow of funds in and out\nduring the period 2016-2024.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe investigators have also requested an investment audit from the\nYKPN Polytechnic to be carried out to calculate the financial losses to\nthe state in this case,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n
PT SAK Operations Stopped Following Corruption Case<\/p>\n
Previously reported, the Regent of Kulon Progo, Agung Setyawan,\ntemporarily stopped the operations of one of the Regional-Owned\nEnterprises (BUMD), namely PT Selo Adikarto (SAK). This step was taken\nbecause the company, which is engaged in the construction and asphalt\nprocessing industry, was involved in an alleged corruption case.<\/p>\n
This case has entered the investigation stage to determine who the\nsuspect is behind the alleged bribery.

\u201cNot an investigation, but it has reached the investigation stage.\n(Suspect?) There isn\u2019t one yet, but there are two pieces of evidence,\u201d\nsaid Agung when met by reporters after a meeting with the Kulon Progo\nDPRD at the Kulon Progo DPRD Complex, Monday (14\/7\/2025).<\/p>\n
Agung said that he had issued letter No.\u00a0500\/2531 to the directors of\nPT. SAK regarding the termination of business and operations dated July\n8, 2025. This termination is valid until the case surrounding the\ncompany is resolved.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere is no revocation, because there is no dissolution. What exists\nis a suspension until the process is completed. If tomorrow morning SAK\nshows that everything is clear and there are no legal issues, then it\nwill be resolved,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Regarding his meeting with the Kulon Progo DPRD, Agung said that the\nfocus was on discussing the completion of the problem. Agung wants the\nSAK party to be cooperative so that this case can be resolved soon.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn fact, it tends to be about how to cooperate so that everything is\nresolved, so that everything is safe. So that everything can proceed\nquickly so that SAK can work again,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the Head of Intelligence at the Kulon Progo Prosecutor\u2019s\nOffice, Awan Prastyo Luhur, confirmed that his party was handling the\nalleged corruption case of PT. SAK in 2016-2024. \u201cWe have examined from\nthe ranks of directors, employees to supervisors,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Awan said that in this case, there is an allegation that PT. SAK\nmanipulated financial report data. In the financial report, PT. SAK\nclaimed to continue to suffer losses, even though business activities\ncontinued to run.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo there is an indication that the financial report does not reflect\nthe facts,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Awan stated that this case is still ongoing and so far no one has\nbeen named a suspect. \u201cAs soon as possible, we will ask the authorized\nagency to conduct an audit. The suspect will await confirmation of the\nviolation and the value of state losses,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
