Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Presidential Staff Office (KSP) will soon
prepare a command post and 24-hour public complaint service to
strengthen the non-structural institution’s function as a bridge for
government policies. “We will open it as widely as possible and gather
as much information as possible directly from the public. This is the
most important thing so that we can handle it directly,” explained Head
of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP) Dudung Abdurachman in response to
the press after the handover of positions (sertijab) within the
Presidential Staff Office (KSP), at the Presidential Palace Complex,
Jakarta, on Tuesday. He stated that this service will be implemented in
the form of a command post at the KSP as well as a central service
hotline number that can be directly accessed by the public. Dudung
targets that the complaint command post along with the central service
telephone number will start operating in the near future. Regarding the
complaint handling mechanism, Dudung said, it will not always be
directly forwarded to the President. According to him, these complaints
will be channelled and communicated first to the relevant ministries as
the parties with technical handling authority. However, in reporting to
President Prabowo Subianto, Dudung assured that there will be routine
reports delivered on various occasions. Nevertheless, he emphasised that
it is flexible in acting based on urgent issues. “If it is indeed very
important, I think it’s better for me to report it directly (to the
President),” he said. Dudung added that his side is committed to
ensuring all presidential priority programmes are well monitored. In
addition, he stated that he will continue the foundation that has been
built and perfect various activities at the KSP. “Many things have
already been done by the KSP to monitor the President’s priority
programmes well, and we will continue them, of course, for the
perfection of other activities,” he said.
",
