TNI\nDudung Abdurrachman, stated that the government is targeting the\nrevitalisation of 71,000 educational units in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMoving forward, by 2026, 71,000 schools will be built,\u201d added Dudung\nduring his inspection of the revitalisation results at SMP Muhammadiyah\n16, Paseban, Senen Subdistrict, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday\n(12\/5\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOnly 11,000 schools have budget allocations ready, and the rest will\nbe covered by Additional Budget Expenditure (ABT),\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Dudung claimed that in 2025, the government had revitalised 16,167\nschools across Indonesia, including SMP Muhammadiyah 16.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn total, this programme has absorbed more than 380,000 jobs\u2014imagine\nthat. So, many job opportunities have now opened up,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>For this year, Dudung promised to regularly check the progress of\nrevitalisation at each school to ensure that the funds are absorbed\ntransparently and effectively.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMoving forward, I will continue to verify whether the donations\nreceived are being implemented properly,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, the Minister of Basic and Secondary Education\n(Mendikdasmen), Abdul Mu\u2019ti, requested additional budget for the\neducational unit revitalisation programme in Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>For the 2026 fiscal year, the Ministry of Education has allocated\nrevitalisation for approximately 11,470 educational units in the State\nRevenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN).<\/p>\n<p>Since the national target for revitalising educational units in 2026\nhas surged to around 71,000 schools, the government is seeking to add\nfunding for another 60,000 units.<\/p>\n<p>If approved, the total number of revitalised educational units in\n2026 will exceed 71,000 schools.<\/p>",
