        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Head of the Presidential Staff Office, General\nTNI (Ret.) Dudung Abdurachman, discovered two problematic Nutrition\nFulfilment Service Units (SPPG) during an unannounced inspection of the\nkitchens managed under the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme in West\nJakarta.<\/p>\n<p>Dudung, who currently leads the Presidential Staff Office (KSP),\nimmediately reported his findings to the National Nutrition Agency\n(BGN), and on Wednesday, BGN imposed sanctions in the form of temporary\nclosures (suspensions) of the two MBG kitchens and deactivation of the\nSPPG units managing them.<\/p>\n<p>The two problematic MBG kitchens are located in the Kebon Jeruk and\nGrogol Petamburan areas.<\/p>\n<p>During his inspection of the MBG kitchens on Tuesday (12\/5), Dudung\nfound unclean conditions, evident from piles of rubbish to the presence\nof maggots.<\/p>\n<p>Dudung emphasised that the periodic unannounced inspections he\nconducts represent direct oversight to check the implementation of MBG\nas a government priority programme.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, in my view, those (kitchens) are not up to standard, and they\nwere immediately responded to by the head of BGN, resulting in\nsuspension. That\u2019s how I see it,\u201d Dudung said while speaking at his\noffice in Bina Graha, the Presidential Palace Complex, Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>Dudung also committed to continuing inspections of other MBG kitchens\nin various regions, including following up on public complaints\nregarding SPPG and MBG kitchens suspected of being problematic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is what I inspected, and I will check several regions. I hear\nthat in Central Java, in West Java, there are issues in the processes,\nfrom determining locations to food preparation, delivery, and so on.\nThese do not meet standards,\u201d Dudung said.<\/p>\n<p>On that occasion, Dudung warned SPPG units currently managing MBG\nkitchens, as well as the investors and foundations overseeing the SPPG,\nnot to turn the MBG programme into a \u201cbusiness field\u201d or a means to\nmaximise profits while sacrificing the quality of food produced for the\nbeneficiaries.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have communicated with Mr Dadan (Head of BGN) to anticipate\nfoundations and investors of all kinds who want to take advantage.
