        "content": "<p>Southern Lampung \u2014 The Bakauheni Port Police Sector (KSKP Bakauheni),\nSouthern Lampung, has prepared a parking area to be used as a free\nvehicle custody service for those undertaking the Lebaran 2026 mudik\ntravel.<\/p>\n<p>Polsek KSKP Bakauheni Chief AKP Ferdo Elfianto, in Southern Lampung,\nsaid on Friday that the service is a demonstration of the Police\u2019s care\nto provide safety and comfort for people returning to their\nhometown.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018We have prepared a dedicated location in the Polsek KSKP office area\nfor mudik travellers to deposit their vehicles. The service is free;\ntravellers only need to show their identity card and a photocopy of the\nvehicle documents,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that the Polsek KSKP Bakauheni office is located at the\nsouthern end of Sumatra, the final point for mudik travellers before\ncontinuing to cross to Java.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018This motor vehicle custody service is 100 percent free of charge and\ncustody is not restricted to residents of Southern Lampung; people from\nAceh, Riau, Jambi, and South Sumatra can also deposit their vehicles at\nthe Bakauheni Polsek KSKP Office,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n<p>He urged the public to report if any officer asks for a fee to\ndeposit their vehicle during mudik, to ensure a safe and comfortable\nmudik for residents; for this reason the Police are committed to\nproviding the best service to the public.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018With this custody service, we remain committed to providing the best\nservice and security guarantees to the public,\u2019 he said.<\/p>",
