Krisdayanti wins AMI awards<\/p>\n
JAKARTA: After a recent successful solo concert, singer
\nKrisdayanti and husband Anang grabbed three awards for the best
\npop song, best singer and best album categories at the fifth AMI-
\nSharp Awards on Friday.<\/p>\n
Krisdayanti, wore a light blue long and sexy dress, received
\nthe awards with the absence of Anang who was still reluctant to
\nattend the awards following the jury's controversial decision
\nmade two years ago by presenting the best singer award to
\nnewcomer Alda.<\/p>\n
\"The awards symbolize Indonesian music pride. I hope artists
\ncan be more creative in the future. I thank Anang who is staying
\nat home with our kids Titania Aurelia Nurhermansyah and Azriel
\nAkbar Hermansyah. Hi kids!,\" she said.<\/p>\n
The ceremony took place at the Indoor Stadium of the Bung
\nKarno Sports Complex and televised by private-station RCTI.<\/p>\n
The three awards have strengthened Krisdayanti's position as
\none of pop divas in the country. She has also received awards
\nfrom the NewsMusic magazine, Planet Muzik Awards of Singapore,
\nVideo Musik Indonesia, MTV and private TV station SCTV. -- JP<\/p>",
