KPU reported for alleged irregularity<\/p>\n
PURWOKERTO, Central Java: Three legislative candidates from the
\nIndonesian Democratic party of Struggle (PDI-P) reported on
\nMonday the local General Elections Commission (KPU) to poll
\nwatchdog the Election Supervisory Committee (Panwaslu) for an
\nalleged irregularity.<\/p>\n
The three legislative candidates for Banyumas regency are
\nWiyono, Isnaeni and Priyanto.<\/p>\n
Wiyono said he is fourth on the PDI-P's list of legislative
\ncandidates for the Banyumas regency council.<\/p>\n
He said he should be third on the list because the Banyumas
\nKPU had scrapped the candidacy of a legislative candidate
\noriginally ranked third on the list. That candidate was removed
\nbecause he failed to meet registration requirements.<\/p>\n
\"But instead of moving me up to the third position, the
\nBanyumas KPU put another person third on the list of legislative
\ncandidate on Jan. 26,\" said Wiyono, adding that this person was
\noriginally listed sixth on the list of PDI-P legislative
\ncandidates.<\/p>\n
He questioned whether the KPU had the permission of PDI-P
\nexecutives to make this change.<\/p>\n
Isnaeni and Priyanto said they suffered similar incidents.<\/p>\n
Ahmad Rofik, a member of Panwaslu, said the watchdog would
\nmeet with the KPU and the three legislative candidates to discuss
