"summary": "The Komisi Percepatan Reformasi Polri (KPRP) has recommended eliminating ex officio members from the Komisi Kepolisian Nasional (Kompolnas) to enhance objectivity, proposing instead that its nine members be drawn from retired high-ranking police officers, senior advocates, academics, and community figures. Additional recommendations include expanding Kompolnas's oversight to direct supervision of police human resources, logistics, budget, and operations, as well as granting it investigative powers for ethical violations and executive authority to enforce its decisions. These reforms, presented to President Prabowo Subianto, could lead to significant institutional changes and potential revisions to the existing Police Law, aiming to strengthen police reform in Indonesia.",
