        "content": "<p>KPKPN challenges anticorruption law<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA: Striving to maintain its existence, the Public<br>\nServants&apos; Wealth Audit Commission (KPKPN) is seeking a judicial<br>\nreview with the Supreme Court against Law No. 30, 2002 on the<br>\nestablishment of an anticorruption commission to replace the<br>\nKPKPN.<\/p>\n<p>KPKPN chairman Jusuf Sjakir said KPKPN had appointed a team of<br>\nlawyers led by Amir Syamsuddin to pursue the case.<\/p>\n<p>He said the request for a judicial review was accepted on<br>\nMonday by Supreme Court chief for civil and state administration<br>\nPaulus Effendi Lotulung.<\/p>\n<p>Jusuf said KPKPN members wanted the commission to be<br>\nmaintained alongside the planned anticorruption commission to be<br>\nestablished in accordance with the anticorruption law enacted<br>\nlate last year.<\/p>\n<p>&quot;We also ask the House of Representatives to amend the law.<br>\nNineteen legislators have stated their readiness to support us,&quot;<br>\nhe said. --Antara<\/p>",
