"summary": "The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has criticised Tulungagung Regent Gatut Sunu Wibowo for failing to learn from a prior corruption case involving Cilacap Regent Syamsul Auliya Rachman, particularly regarding the distribution of Eid holiday allowances (THR) to local leadership coordination forums (forkopimda). KPK Deputy for Enforcement and Execution Asep Guntur Rahayu highlighted that despite prior warnings to officials against such practices, the Tulungagung case proceeded similarly, underscoring a lack of commitment to integrity in local governance. This follows KPK's recent sting operation arresting Gatut and 17 others, mirroring the Cilacap scandal where Syamsul targeted Rp750 million through extortion for THR and personal gain.",
