        "content": "<p>JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will announce\nthe latest progress in the alleged corruption case concerning the\n2023-2024 Hajj quota on Monday (30\/3\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>KPK\u2019s Deputy for Enforcement and Execution, Asep Guntur Rahayu,\nstated that the handling of this case has shown significant\ndevelopments.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, Asep has not confirmed whether the latest developments\nin the alleged Hajj quota corruption case relate to the designation of\nnew suspects.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will announce it later. In any case, the progress is very good,\u201d\nhe said.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Yaqut, the KPK also detained other suspects, namely\nStasus Yaqut and Ishfah Abidal Aziz alias Gus Alex, on Tuesday\n(17\/3\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Based on calculations by the KPK together with the Audit Board of\nIndonesia (BPK), the state losses due to this corruption case amount to\nRp 622 billion.<\/p>\n<p>One week later, specifically on Thursday (19\/3\/2026), Yaqut was\ntransferred to house arrest at the request of his family.<\/p>\n<p>The transfer of detention status was only announced by the KPK on\nSaturday (21\/3\/2026), coinciding with Eid al-Fitr 1447 H.
