        "content": "<p>Following the sting operation (OTT) against Tulungagung Regent Gatut\nSunu, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has taken 12 officials\nfrom Tulungagung Regency Government to Surabaya to undergo further\nexamination. The group departed from Tulungagung Police Station on\nSaturday morning around 06:33 WIB under police escort. The 12 officials\nconsist of several department heads, heads of regional device\norganisations (OPD), the regent\u2019s aide, and one member of the\nTulungagung DPRD. Meanwhile, several other officials who were previously\nexamined were not taken to Surabaya and have been released after initial\nquestioning. Previously, the KPK conducted the OTT against the\nTulungagung Regent on Friday, 10 April, followed by examinations of\nseveral officials in the local government environment. The dozen\nTulungagung Regency officials underwent questioning by KPK investigators\nfor approximately 12 hours starting from Friday evening, 10 April 2026.\nIn addition to the examinations, KPK investigators also conducted\nsearches at the Tulungagung Public Works and Spatial Planning (PUPR)\nOffice.
